To be, or not to be?

There has been a lot of uncertainty around us lately. This country and others around the world are in turmoil unlike any other time in history. It could get you down. It could really take a toll on you. Unless you’re heartless, how could it not? And it begs the question: to be, or not to be?

To be happy, to be healthy, to be sad, to be sick, to be love, to be angry, to be disrespectful, to be kind. What do you choose to be? And do you believe it is a choice? Do you think people are born bad or good? Or do you believe we are a product of choices? In the famous play Hamlet, Shakespeare wrote, “To be, or not to be? That is the question—Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles. And, by opposing, end them?” The idea of whether is it better to live or to die. And I take it a step further, deeper, to pose the idea of whether it is a choice to live well.

I believe it is. And I’ve been more and more intentional about tapping into this. Have you ever watched the movie The Secret? I’ll leave a link to it below. Definitely take the time to watch it. Basically it teaches you about the law of attraction and the power of our thoughts, beliefs, intentions, actions, and outcomes. And I believe the secret is very real.

So, to be or not to be, is indeed a question. Is it better to live well and die young, or live long and be miserable and unhealthy? What do you think?

Come back tomorrow and we’ll dig even deeper into the power we have, or don’t have, over the thinks that happen in our lives. Thanks for reading!
