It’s the gratefulness for me!

If you’re hip to the colloquialisms that come out like clockwork, you’re familiar with the title of this post and it’s significance. What has it been for you? The shoes? The bag? The outfit, the hairstyle, the makeup? It’s been something for you. I know it. The recipe, the presentation, the pose? Oh yes, I am confident that in the last year or so, something has been IT for you!

And for me, this month, this year, my word is gratefulness. I started a 21 Day gratefulness challenge yesterday with my Instagram community and I’d love for you all to be a part of it. Click here to join. For this challenge we are starting each day with an attitude of gratitude, changing our mindsets, and changing our lives. Be sure to click here to join us.

In the meantime I wanted to share three things that gratefulness can immediately do for your life right now. Immediately immediately! For real, like right now.

1. Increase your positivity – expressing gratitude releases feelings of happiness and contentment, which in turn makes you feel more positive overall.

2. Improve your mood – an attitude of gratitude releases stress, releases anxiety, and improves your sleep. When you sleep well, you feel better, function better, interact better.

3. Make room for bigger and better things – when you’re grateful for what you have and where you currently are, and are content and taking care of the things you have and taking care of yourself, God, the Universe, smiles on you and grants you even more. I’d you’re ungrateful and complaining about where you are and what you have or don’t, why would you get anything more? People everywhere are happy and grateful with less, so…

I want to encourage each of you to be grateful for all that you are. Be grateful for everything you have. Be grateful for where you’ve come from and where you’re going. Be grateful and watch the world around you change in a spectacular and positive way!
